Graham Moore, Patron and Friend, Transplant Sport

Graham Moore Patron and Friend Transplant Sport

It is was deeply saddening to hear of the passing of Graham Moore this week,  Patron of Transplant Sport and a huge supporter of the British Transplant Games.

Through his position as Chairman of Westfield Health, Graham provided a firm foundation on which the modern Games were able to progress.

He never missed the Games since he was Chair of the Organising Committee in Sheffield 2008 and again in 2013, whilst Westfield Health were title sponsors of the 2019 World Transplant Games in Newcastle/Gateshead.

Graham has left a huge legacy within the transplant community. Many of you will know him personally, and he posted regularly on social media regarding our transplant family. His last post being literally two days before his passing!

His final legacy piece we hope, is to see the Games return to Sheffield in 2026, something which Graham was personally engaged with in the City.

On behalf of the Trustees, we extend our deepest sympathy to his family, and we remain privileged to have had such a committed Patron and ambassador of organ donation and the British Transplant Games.

RIP Graham and thank you!
