Oxford, the ‘City of Dreaming Spires’, is a historic city known for its world-famous University, rich literary heritage and stunning architecture. Oxfordshire is a county that attracts visitors from across the globe and will play host to the 2025 Westfield Health British Transplant Games.


Oxford is a city in Southeast England. It’s known as the home of University of Oxford, one of the oldest and most prestigious in the world, authors of the Oxford English Dictionary and has provided a backdrop to blockbusters such as the Harry Potter franchise.
Oxford is also home to Blenheim Palace, built between 1705 and 1722, it is one of England’s largest houses and will play host to an event each day of the British Transplant Games. Named after the Battle of Blenheim and designed by Sir John Vanbrugh, the Palace is regarded as the finest example of truly Baroque architecture in Great Britain and boasts extensive grounds and scenic views.


Oxford is also the home of excellent sports facilities and boasts ownership of the UK’s only LED embedded Glass Sportshall Floor at the University of Oxford’s Acer Nethercott centre. The City is served by the Oxford Railway Station and extensive bus network served by the Oxford Bus Company and Thames Travel.
